OUR ORIGIN STORY
BUTR & MILK was born from a moment of feeling completely lost.
My early twenties were rough. I was searching—desperately—for where I fit in the world. I’d pushed down all my creativity, buried my flair, and followed the paths that were praised, but never felt like mine.

My first step off the beaten path was with makeup—something that, back then, wasn’t seen as “accomplished.” That led me to cosmetic nursing. But even then, something was still missing.
Then came the clothes...

I remember ordering a few basics online—pieces hyped up by big-name brands—and when they arrived, they were garbage. Low quality. Fell apart after one wash. For something that was meant to make me feel powerful, elevated, and like I was stepping into a new version of myself—it did the complete opposite.
That moment hit hard. And I knew I could do better.
So I did.

I circled back to what I knew deep down was mine. Fashion. Creativity. Expression. I wanted to build a one-stop shop for wardrobe essentials—but luxe, durable, and packed with personality. Think timeless silhouettes with edge—designed to turn heads and stand the test of time.
That vision has evolved.
I realised I wasn’t just designing clothes. I was designing for people like me—the doers, the dreamers, the go-getters. People who hustle for what they want and need clothes that go the distance.
And the name? BUTR & MILK came from something close to home.
When I was little, my Nana used to send me to the store with a list that never changed:
“Just the essentials.”
That always meant bread, butter, and milk.
She’d say, “As long as you can make a cuppa and some toast, you’ll be okay.”
That sentiment stuck.
Simple. Steady.
Today, BUTR & MILK is a reflection of that idea:
When your essentials are sorted, everything else falls into place.
We make high-quality streetwear with a refined attitude—pieces designed to outlast trends and honour your grind. We collaborate with go-getters across the globe to bring this brand to life, because it’s not just about clothes—it’s about community, creativity, and showing up as your boldest self, every damn day.
